May 4th 2013 saw Charlotte and Joel’s wedding at the Tenterden Town Hall. The whole day was full of so many lovely personal touches and it was a Zenzero’s pleasure to provide the table decorations for the happy couple.
Charlotte’s shoes were unlike any I’ve seen and having popped round a few days before the wedding I know each and every favour (jam jars filled with sweets) had been individually covered with floral fabric and signed from the Bride and Groom!
There was a reoccurring theme of lilac ribbon so I used lilac and purple ribbon in different patterns to make the bunting which went round the edge of each table. The bunting triangles were made from book pages and decorated with buttons and ribbons, but more about that later! The table names were all classic films chosen and provided by the bride’s brother, Ethan.
For the centre pieces I used flowers which were feature in the bouquets and button holes provided by the Flower Craft Workshop in Tenterden.
The flowers for our centre pieces were provided by the fabulous South East Flowers…
When I first started to chat to Charlotte about what she wanted I mentioned flowers made from book pages, she loved the idea so this is where the book pages started. They become a theme throughout the decorations we provided…. the bunting and the name places were both made from book pages and became quite a talking point for guests!
Buttons and ribbons were used to accessorise the name places, bunting and the flowers themselves. The vases were filled with a combination of different dried beans or coloured water and decorated with purple ribbon and raffia. Fairy lights featured around the centre pieces and purple glitter was spread over the tables.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and we were so pleased to have been part of it!
